I have an email set up for this article so you can read it in the future. Damn you are old, how are you doing? Have you finally completed all the goals you wanted? From opening that film studio, and owning a video game company? Have you done all of that? Have you made mom and dad proud? 

You finally graduate college by now, really insane to think. I know you always wanted to play the guitar and the piano so I hope you did it. I hope you made friends that you are happy to be with.  

Remember, not everyone is looking out for you even though you are looking out for them. If you have to burn bridges for your own good. Do it, even if those bridges were built long ago. 

I expect you to be successful, you keep telling everyone you're gonna be successful. Keep that promise.

Did you actually complete the other promise? The promise of making our small town a better place. Even though the plans are ambitious with setting up multiple hospitals and such. If all you do is make a school then that’s enough to make her proud. 

 I hope you are working with your idols such as corridor digital, brandon laatsch, freddie wong, ryan higa and many more. You always wanted to work with them, do it. 

You should focus on yourself and especially on all the ideas you have. You have so many bright ideas yet you drop them because you doubt yourself. Stop doubting yourself, who cares what others think.

Tell the family you love them. They're not gonna live forever. Just like you aren't, stop thinking you will go after your goals tomorrow. You should go after them today, stop thinking you have so much time because you really don't. You could be dead tomorrow and would you feel you live the life you wanted? You feel that you accomplished everything in your life? 25 years of age. You are at the stage where you are at your prime. Please don't waste your time. 

I hope you are going to the gym regularly because right now I’m not seeing much progress but I hope to see all the hard work was worth it. I hope you become someone that I can look up to. Don't think about kids, let's be honest. It's not worth settling down at such an early age. Maybe when you turn 30? I don't know, You should have a kid when you don't have to worry about the amount of money in the bank. 

I hope you aren't a bum. It will be such a tragic ending to a story like ours. I hope you were able to let grandma live such an amazing life. We both know she doesn't have much time. So keep calling her, tell her you love her. She doesn't hear that much and you already know that. 

Don't hate taking pictures. They tell a story that I know you will want to remember. Before this ends. I want you to remember one last thing.

I hope it was all worth it. All we ever wanted when we were young was to be able to have our family live a comfortable life so please, I hope you are going home at least once. Do it for grandma. 

Dear 25 year old me

Another program I suggest learning if you are looking for skills to pick up during this bear market is unity. Remember you’ll never lose money being a builder but when it comes to trading. 98% of traders are losing at the game. I will go back to nfts and crypto once again if many want me to but I will continue to focus on other aspects of this space that will give you an edge compare to the competition 

Unity is a video game program made by unity technologies. It is an incredible skill to learn especially in the web 3 space. As I mentioned before with unreal engines, there haven’t been successful blockchain video games and learning how to make a video game will give you that edge. Unity is also a really fun way to increase your logic and also increase your learning skills. Learning is also a skill and I will make a guide about how I learn effectively another time but by learning unity, you will be able to improve it.

Unity Guide

While writing my next guide, I recently received some DMs to create a guide for one of the tutorials I have suggested if you wanted to learn blender. Thank you to all who have reached out to me. Some people have told me that it would take them too long and wanted something to get straight to the point. 

I wanted to give some clarifications on why I chose that tutorial and why I won’t make a short version of it. Now it may seem very mundane to make a donut in blender. After all, the program has the capabilities to make very amazing works like scenes you would see in a movie but before you can get to that point. You must understand the basics and understand the program itself. 

I didn’t suggest that tutorial so you learn to make a donut. I suggested that tutorial so you can learn blender itself while making a donut. You don’t just dive head in when learning to swim. You take it slow and steady and then you can dive once you get the basics of it. The same applies to learning blender or really anything you want to in life.

I chose the blender tutorial by blender guru because not only will you be able to make a donut at the end. You will have the knowledge necessary to understand the program and make anything you have your imagination set to. Yes, blender will be a pain to learn.  It will feel very discouraging and quite annoying once you finish the tutorial and the art you made on your own isn’t on par to what you had envisioned. The learning curve is a high one and many others have dealt with those emotions as well but I want you to know to not give up.

Keep going as you will get better overtime and develop the skills needed to solve problems on your own. Trust me, this skill will be one of the most satisfying things you will feel. You aren’t alone in this journey you partake. Many are cheering you on as you go on and continuing refining your skills. The blender community is one of the most accepting and most welcoming ones I have been in. Don’t be afraid to go to the discord servers I have suggested and ask for help. Many would love to take some time to help you out! 

I hope you all understand why I made the decisions I did. It is not to give you unnecessary work but to help you out and make you from a beginner in blender to an intermediate or even more. Just know the best way to learn blender isn’t by reading but by experience. It will take you a while to remember the hotkeys and a lot of the tools you see but over time they will become second nature. Once again thank you all for DMing me, I know I only made you all more furious with this kind of response but I hope you understand why I didn’t accept the request to make a short guide on the tutorial. Why you should learn to make a donut in blender

As I have talked about before, trading can be incredibly risky and especially during a time where it seems like the world is hopeless. I usually do guides about trading NFTs but the market has gotten to the point where the risk is too high for a small reward. So today's guide will be different and this will be a new series on how to develop skills that are in high demand in web 3 because you’ll never lose money being a builder but when it comes to trading. 98% of traders are losing at the game. 

Unreal engine is a video game engine made by epic games. It is one of the most sought out skills in this space. There hasn’t been a successful blockchain game so being able to know how to build a game in unreal engine will give you an edge in that category. It will also develop a very in demand trait which is being able to problem solve. Being able to problem solve is especially needed since there are many types of problems you will face with unreal engine and it requires you to use your logic and interpretation skills to a new level.

The problem with getting started is there is too much information out there to consume and it can get overwhelming incredibly quickly. So here are great resources to look into and shortcuts to remember.

Blueprint is a visual scripter so it allows you to do the back end of making games without needing to know programming. Below is an excellent video on how to use it.

Unreal Engine Guide: High demand skills to learn in web 3 

The fear of missing out. This is a strong emotion that can interfere with all logic if you don’t control it. This guide isn’t about controlling yours, more of controlling others and profiting off their fomo. 

This guide will be a short one since I am more focused on other things in my life such as my calculus exam but this is an important one for all of those who trade nfts and read my guides. When it comes to nft trading the most important thing to remember is momentum and tracking momentum is incredibly hard sometimes.

 If you don’t get there early then you’re gonna be the exit liquidity. I found a bot recently that makes it so that you’re the early one but it is hard to use without some sort of info on what all the numbers and graphs mean. 

Full disclaimer I am not being paid by the people who made the bot. I used it myself and I am providing my own notes about it. 

The bot tells you if there are a lot of sales, which could indicate that someone is sweeping, and it can also detect nice projects such as goblins. You can then go examine the activity to find out what is going on.

The FOMO Bot is merely an algorithm that loops endlessly while reading OS and what is happening in OS and presenting the facts to the table in a crude manner for us to observe. It all relies on what is being ping.

Because listing counts show you how many people are willing to sell at a given price and allow you to use that information as an exit point, we refer to them as "key points" in traditional charting.

1. level must be high or extreme, prefer it to be extreme and it must be extreme at least 2 or 3 times 

2. Current pressure should be neutral but prefer it to be high. 

3. What matters a lot is the 1 - 5 minute volume. Do the math, if it can break through the wall with the volume pressure it a short time then buy one to swing and sell. This is a low risk or buy 3 for a risker play. 

Always set one above 1-2x what you bought and the other 2 can be whatever as long as you make back your investment

If I'm not mistaken, sales are resistance points. I can use that measure as a confluence to determine whether or not many people are paperhanding.

Is the volume high? 5 minute sales and 5 minute preview sales help with it.

If it's moving, it's a good indicator. For instance, if you minted a free NFT and want to sell it for .1 eth and you have a listing count to 0.1 eth of 200, a preview one minutes sale of 20, and the current five minutes, 30, you can assume that 50 are sold every ten minutes, leaving only 100 for it to reach .1 

If it isn't moving, you can start looking at the exit before .1 eth so you can better secure your profit. 

As I previously stated, if there are too many listings at a given price, the barrier will be thick; if not, it will be thin, which can be a solid indication that your pricing has been reached.

It isn’t live as that is a premium feature many are paying thousands and thousands for. Hopefully one day I can open up my own discord and have it so I can give it for the community to use for free.

Using fomo bot to help trading with NFTs 

I have been on this journey in crypto since I graduated high-school last year. I went through the euphoric highs and now the incredible lows but I learned something throughout my journey in nfts and crypto as a whole. Lessons that I will tell you as well so you can learn from my mistakes.

Where do I even begin with this? So many times I could have taken profits but I didn’t. My greed got the best of me because I always wanted more but more never came. In fact everything went down. This was a harsh reality to face is that it's not what you make but what you take home. Greed is a poison. Don't let it constraint you and break you down. 

Another foolish thing for me to do. When I first got into nfts, my first nft was a huge success and I made 2 eth. About 8k around that time and it was the craziest thing ever. I ended up using that money for eating at fancy restaurants, buying clothes, shoes, heck I even used it as a down payment on a car. You can easily guess that all of that money is gone because I ended up owing tax on it and it was a lot more than I anticipated. Ended up having to take money out of my personal savings account to pay off taxes. Now I’m poorer then when I started and have debt  with a stupid car. 

 3.  Never put your eggs in one basket 

I only have one word to say. $LUNA. I never thought it would go to zero ever. I thought it was too big to fail but it proved to me that nothing is too big to die. I also held on to a lot of NFTs that I didn't want to take a loss on. I kept hoping that it would go back up but I ended up losing out a lot more than I should have.

If I had diversified in stocks, other crypto, USDC, other NFTs, and REITs. I would be a lot happier and safer. Now I’m stuck with my repercussions of the choices I made due to me being foolish and naive. 

Fear of missing out. This is a dangerous feeling. This can very easily lead to you losing hard on crypto. Learn to control yourself and think logically. Yes this is a lot easier said than done but ways to control that emotion is by using that energy to focus on something completely different. For me, I have a hand grip machine where I use it and focus on building my grip strength. Those small moments of focus on something else that is not crypto related gives me a clearer head. 

5.  Better it be a co-op then a pve (player vs everyone) 

Crypto is a massive place. It is filled with so many things and navigating by yourself will leave you overwhelmed. I wish I knew to do this with a friend or people that were like minded. The amount of times I faded something due to me not understanding is more than I can count. I probably miss out on so many opportunities to either make money or connections and it wouldn’t have happened if I had put myself out there and got to know people. I would recommend putting yourself out there and find people that are like minded. Try some alpha groups! That's what they're typically for 

This is something that was hard for me to take in. That I will miss things and it is okay to. We’re human after all and we only have so much time in the day. There are new NFT and crypto projects being made every single day. There is no way to be able to sort through it all to find the potential diamond. It is just not possible. Use the time you have wisely and answer the following question. “What is worth your time?”. If you can answer that then you'll have nothing to worry about. For me I found what's worth my time is just finding developer lead projects! I would love to meet more developer after all. 

This may sound strange and out of left field but take time to take care of your health and get fit. Working out in itself is a form of mediation and it helps not only you physically but mentally. This space like I said can get so overwhelming so take care of yourself and you will be better than the rest. Again you’ll miss out things but its okay since in the end you’re putting the time for yourself. 

    Being open minded is a trait that you should want to have. It will allow you to see opportunities in things you never expected. For example, many people scoff and ridicule nfts without fully understanding how it truly is. In the end those who were open minded about it and who had conviction in learning new things were the ones to succeed. This gave them an advantage that the others were lacking. Being opened minded can lead you to the unorthodox path with a possibility of reaping the biggest rewards 

The ones who were brave enough to do anything were the ones that reap the most. Even shitposters I saw became successful just from putting themselves out there. What I’m trying to say is be bold. Be confident and you’ll attract the people you want. If I had done that a lot sooner, I would have had more opportunities and a bigger network  

10.  Know that bad days build to better days

This is a very personal topic for me, my extreme embarrassing loss on $LUNA. It has brought me a lot of suffering. I never felt so ashamed in my life. I remember very vividly being so distraught and weak because I hadn’t eaten in a week. Seeing the amount of weight loss, I felt I deserved the pain. I deserve it for the $LUNA catastrophe. The shame was too intense, my family and friends  were getting worried about me. I never told them why I became like that. They assumed I was going through a terrible break up but in the end they got me out of my bed and forced me to get on the right track. Made me eat slowly and helped me get back into shape. It was that support that made me realize that there is nothing to be a shame about. I can always get back the money but I can never get back my time with the ones I love. My recovery phase led me to a lot of thinking and in turn led me to creating this twitter account. If I can help out others just like my family and friends help me out. Then I know I did good with my time. I hope to be that support to you. Never give up anon and keep your hope strong.

10 Life lessons I learn from my journey in crypto 

Many people take social media for granted. They use it to look at cute animals pictures or memes but social media is more then that. You can use it to gain information and be ahead of the crowd. Information is the new gold. Sound unbelievable right but knowing things before anyone else will always set you far in life. You are what you consume. Consuming average and over redundant content will in turn make you average and not ahead of the game. Social media is fill with a lot of noise but here is how to cut it out and configure it to the best you can. This will be a short guide compare to my other ones but I would say it is one of the most important ones.

This is probably an obvious thing to know but make sure you’re following the right people. From Anaylst, developers, thought leaders, shit posters, bots, investors, innovators, etc. It may sound strange I include shitposters in a group of very talented and skilled people but you want to be able to have fun too and shitposters are a great way to make sure your feed keeps you engage. 

This is the most useful tool twitter has! It allows you to make list of people you want. Sometimes I don't even go on my feed. List allows you to look at the people you want to actually see and you can categorize them. For example here is the list I made to get alpha from! 

Obviously you need people to put the list in so check out the people I recommend below! 

Don’t get stuck in an echo chamber and filter Bubble 

Deliberately seek out those who have anti crypto and defi view points so you can see the other side and not get stuck in hearing what you want to hear. In order to get the best alpha, you must be able to hear the side you do not agreed with. This is what save those who were stuck in the $LUNA echo chamber was due to hearing the other side argument. Don’t be one of those who stick in the bubble until it bursts. I do not follow as many as I should but here are three people that make sure I stay level headed. 

And that is it! It’s quite simple but just follow all of these people and it will make your twitter into an alpha center! Good-luck and may you have the edge to beat out the crowd. 

How to turn your twitter into an alpha center 

In my earlier guide, I went over how to get started if you’re new in NFTs and briefly went over how I vetted a project to determine whether or not I will invest. If you’re new and want to read that. Here is a link to it! 

Today I wanted to write a more in depth guide on my personal thought process behind investing in a project. This will range from how to determine what is a short term flip and what is a long term hold and many more. 

Disclaimer, I have not been paid by any of these projects I am talking about. I have no stake in them. 

Before you can even vet a project. You got to even find a project worth looking at. With hundreds and hundreds of projects popping up daily. Here is how to find a project worth your time. I will separate these projects based on three categories. Degen, short term flip, and long term hold

: Degen projects are fairly easy to spot. They are typically free or super cheap mints. The projects typically are either cc0 (creative commons), have no roadmaps, heck might not even have a discord, cult like following, some kind of branding, derivatives and so much more. 99% of the time these projects will go to 0. So it is pretty much a gamble. Roll the dice if you want but just remember that only lose money you’re not afraid of losing.

They do not require much thought in order to vet them but look for these either way. 

Now everyone's views are different in terms of flip culture. Some think it is necessary, others think it is a disease and the opinion on this ranges far. I’m more in the boat of just letting people do what they want. If you want to flip then flip, if you want to hold then hold! 

To me, 98% of all projects are a flip. That is not because I don’t think they have a bright future. They very easily could but to me I am trying to gain enough capital to get into potential blue chips projects. I think the space is still a bit too early to tell what projects are truly a blue chip but I do have a list that I will share at the end that I think are future blue chip material. Now when it comes to vetting a potential short term project. Here is what you need to look out for. 

Some new projects coming out might be a long term hold but it is a big risk, though there is a way to determine if it truly will be. Be careful of your bias though, sometimes we convince ourselves that this project will be different then the rest. It will be the next big thing but you have to remember that you need to stay level headed. Don’t ignore the red flags because of the potential you think the project has. Everyone was hype about mekaverse and everyone thought it would be a clear top caliber project. Now everyone forgot about them and they are probably one of the worst projects in this space. 

I have already talk about some aspects to look for in a project but the very short list is 

I wanted to give an example of how I vetted a project so you can see what I do. 

💳 Mint Info: 999 supply, minting in (TBA), Mint price:0.08

Why to watch 🔍: It is a utility base project with a affordable mint price of .08! They have some of the top alpha callers in the space in the projects such as 

 who is an alpha caller for llamaverse and rise and is highly respected amongst the NFT community. They have already provided enough value for the people in the discord to make a potential 2 eth. In a bear market that is incredible to see. They already have lockdown tools and nodes which gives the future holders more of an edge against the rest when it comes to trading. I will touch on nodes in another guide but it essentially makes your transaction go smoother and faster. 

Cons ❌: The current market condition is really terrible. Even highly respected projects such as llamascape struggle in this market to even mint out. The team isn’t fully doxxed so it gives them less accountability. With the rise of alpha groups, competition will be fierce to see if they can even compete with the rest. The art is okay, it doesn't look that amazing to me but it is alright for what it is. Marketing has been lackluster but that might be due in part of the team focusing more on the community they already have. The community is alright in the discord. It does feel incredibly grindy though so not too sure on the authenticity there. 

Rating: short term 7/10, long term 8.5/10. 

Final thoughts: I do not think they will be in demand for the short term. Buyer sentiments are at its lowest so I’m not too sure if people will want it that much. I do think it is a great long term though. It will depend on the team though. The team is young so you’re betting on the future they have and whether or not they can take it to the next level. Personally I’m willing to take the risk if I get a mint list for this project.  

Never financial advice and always do your own research. Remember if you receive a mint list. That does not mean you need to mint right away. You can always observe the demand and decide.

How to analyze an NFT project 

So you’re a trader and you’re trading NFTs. You see many others use tools to assist them but they’re all paid. Do you do the same and pay for the tools as well even though they can very easily cost 500$ to even a couple thousands? No of course not, at least not yet. That’s for a different guide. In this one I will show you some tools that are just as good as the ones people paid for and it is FREE. Give yourself that same advantage they have without having to pay an arm and a leg.

Let’s start with the most common one that everyone knows and that is a sweeper. It saves you on gas if you’re looking to bulk buy on secondary. Here are the two that I use and that many uses too. 

This is more of a tool to keep track of how you are performing. A great way to make sure you’re level headed. People tend to believe they’re better than they actually off 

A tool to give you a look at how your portfolio is. 

In nft trading, analytics is king so make sure you have a tool that can give you both. A tool that is able to turn data into something more tangible and readable. I recommend the tools below. 

In NFTs, rarity is king sometimes as the price becomes more expensive for an nft that is rarer. I recommend the rarity sniffer below!

On ethereum you need to be able to keep track of gas and sometimes gas might be higher than anticipated. Below is a gas website I use when I am getting ready to buy an NFT. 

You need a tool to determine whether or not you broke even. With the price fluctuating it can be hard but that is why I use derisk tools. Allows me to set my price accordingly 

People are charging over hundreds for an alert tool to give you alerts on what is happening on open sea. No need with the tool sunspots! Free and open source so you can customize it to your liking 

Opensea is known for being slow at times. Especially during some hype moments so I recommend using NFTPilot below as a quick and easy way to check the floor of the nfts you are looking at. 

In order to keep up with the new mints coming out. I use whats-minting live as an alternative to icy tool which is a subscription. Does the same job.
